My name is Catherine Turner. I enjoy travelling with my family in our Motorhome, gardening and property renovation.
Why do you do what you do?
I started my World Options Franchise in 2012 after being a stay at home mum for 12 years. As the first World Options Franchise, everything was very new, both to myself and World Options. I think we did well working together and being patient with each other! World Options is very similar in that I can offer a service to my customers whilst providing for my family and taking care of their needs.
How do you feel your offering makes a difference?
I am not a salesperson, and I think my customers appreciate that! I know how I want to be treated in business and in general, and I try my best to treat my customers in the same way, with respect and appreciation. Customer Support is at the heart of all we do. Over the years, with World Options, the Franchise has grown, and we have a team around us to help continue to grow the business and support our customers, both old and new. We offer Key Accounts Support to all our customers, big and small.
Can you detail your service offering?
We work closely with our customers in shipping both Internationally and here in the UK, offering the services of world-class couriers with more of a small business feel when it comes to relationships. We work hard to keep on top of the ever-changing needs of our customers. We are supporting and educating where necessary. In particular, with Brexit and the many challenges that brought to sending goods into Europe. Many of our customers embrace e-commerce, and we are fully equipped with the help of World Options E-commerce App integrations to support them in this.
What kind of experience did you have before becoming a World Options partner?
As an illustrator working with architects and publishers, I was able to work between children whilst my two boys were at school.
What do you feel is key to the success of your business?
Hard work and a commitment to providing the best possible customer service.
How do you go the extra mile for your customers?
With the growth of the Franchise, and my role evolving as the business has grown, I am still available should my customers need to contact me. It is essential to be available, and customers appreciate this relationship. Many customers started using the World Options Portal in 2012 and are still using us today! As they grow, we grow.
