We know each other for 11 years now after initially working together at TNT Post. Not only do we both love spending time with our family, but we are also active sports enthusiasts and especially enjoy cycling, walking, going to the gym and supporting local charities and NHS fundraising events. Supporting our local football teams Harrogate Town and Leeds United is another big hobby of ours.

We are fanatical logisticians!

It’s great to deliver a solution that so perfectly fits a need. Whether it’s a straightforward, off the shelf option or something requiring more detailed planning and consideration. The broad range of World Options services and innovative solutions mean we are perfectly placed to offer our customers precisely what they need as well as want. It really helps to understand the detail – considering what the challenges and individual drivers are for each customer, make every day different and every opportunity unique. interesting and rewarding at the same time!

How do you feel your offering makes a difference?

Drawing from almost 30 years of combined industry experience and knowledge, we have developed a broad contact network as well as a deep understanding of both the market and types of challenges our customers face.

The industry is changing faster than ever before at the moment so it’s crucial, as your logistics partner, that we keep pace with the changes. We are industry professionals with our eyes and ears permanently wide open! If we don’t know the answer, the likelihood is we know someone who does or can point you in the direction of someone that does.

How do you stand out as a franchise owner?

We see ourselves as an integral part of our customer’s supply chain – an extension of our customer’s businesses if you will. As business owners ourselves, our success is wholly dependent on the success of our customers and that dictates a completely different approach and way of working.

Can you detail your service offering? How do you help your customers?

We offer a complete carrier agnostic, (SAAS) shipping and carrier management solution as well as freight and logistics consultancy services. We also offer related E-commerce industry solutions from personalised packaging to printers and office supplies.

Our services are carrier-neutral, ultimately, we don’t sell or represent any single service or brand. We help customers make informed decisions regarding their transport and logistics requirements – saving time and money with the peace of mind that the choices they have made are the right ones.

What kind of experience did you have before becoming a World Options partner?

We have almost 30 years of combined postal, logistics and print industry experience between us. Holding senior management and director level positions at The Saga Group and The Delivery Group respectively.

What do you feel is key to the success of your business?

Customer satisfaction. Happy customers are most likely to become repeat customers. Whilst there is no obligation or contractual commitment to ship x number of items with us (which is a USP in itself), it stands to reason that if customers like the service they get, they will continue to work with us and remain customers for many years to come!

How do you go the extra mile for your customers?

Our customer’s business is our business! We look to understand what it is that they do and what specific service requirements they have with their business as well as their shipments in mind. i.e. what are the implications if time-sensitive shipments get delayed? Which countries do they ship to regularly and what previous experiences can we both draw from to ensure the service options presented and considered, are the right options? If the speed of service is less of a driver, what is? Whether it’s transit time, price or service reliability, we are perfectly placed to advise and recommend.

We proactively monitor customer shipments, seeking to identify and resolve potential issues from the outset, so that the customer, and the customer’s customer, have the best possible experience.

Our aim is to deliver the right solution, at the right time and at the right price. We take an open and honest approach with our customers. If we can’t – we won’t! But we are always looking to adopt not only a ‘can do’ but also a ‘will do’ approach to our work.

Whether it’s supplying packaging and office equipment, offering freight solutions and advice or the supply of 3rd party logistics and transport services, we are perfectly placed to help and support – but don’t just take our word for it.
