How To Address A Parcel To Belgium
There are some prohibitions and restrictions on certain goods that you will need to consider when shipping to France. Some items are expressly prohibited, while others may be subject to restrictions on the volume you can import or export, or require licences or other documentation.
The items to which restrictions apply may be subject to change. The following items may be restricted and you should check with an expert before attempting to ship any parcels containing these goods:

Businesses should consult their shipping provider and carrier to check what specific restrictions apply on certain items. Prohibited and Restricted Items To Belgium
French customs is called Les Douanes and is the equivalent of HMRC in the UK. In 2016, the body outlined its plans to implement 40 concrete measures during the next three years to develop its logistics activities. Many of these measures focus on simplifying French customs, which could encourage more British businesses to export to France.

As a result of Brexit, there may now be additional fees due on products being imported or exported to France. Since July 2021, VAT is now due on all items; prior to this point, items worth less than €22 were not subject to VAT, but this has now changed for all items being sent to any EU country.
