I’m a foodie at heart so love to try different cuisines on my travels, while my passion for football keeps me entertained most weekends. I believe that a morning walk every day keeps the doctors away so that I’m fresh for the day ahead. Also as with most young dads, I try to spend as much time with my little ones in between work as they are my world.
What makes you passionate about your business?
When I see what my actions deliver for other businesses where it may be saving them money and/or time it motivates me to want to do more for other people in the same predicament. Also, my two beautiful kids help me get out of bed every morning and motivate me to hit new goals in my career. I strive to make a better life for myself and my family so that their future is secure.
How do you feel your offering makes a difference?
I have extensive experience in the Same day/ Next day Logistics business with my fleet still on the road operating out of 3 locations in the Midlands. This experience with the local trade and your better-known carriers like UPS & DHL gives me inside knowledge on how to best serve my customer’s interests.
How do you help your customers?
My customers will have access to a team of Account Managers and Customer service representatives who will personally manage your account from setting up portal demonstrations, or any delivery inquiries you may have. A direct line to me will be provided once the customer’s account is open so that if they ever have any concerns or questions about their service levels with the carriers or us then I will resolve them without any further involvement from them. Finally having access to my fleet of vehicles if my customers ever needed them I can make them available at discounted rates.
What kind of experience did you have before becoming a World Options partner?
Our team has come from various backgrounds and roles including, marketing, account management, financial services, business development, customer services and logistics. With a variety of skills built up in previous roles and having gained an in-depth knowledge of the World Options systems, we can provide our customers with excellent service and support. As a trained and experienced project manager for the food manufacturing industry in my earlier years, I have managed to gain a strong understanding of how to achieve successful and continuous improvements in business through streamlining and targeted investments. From this, I have been establishing and building a business for the past 9 years in the Retail and Logistics trade with now only applying my time in the logistics industry. I now use my extensive knowledge and experience in business and project management to ensure my customers see the best support, infrastructure, and pricing during their time with us.
What do you feel is key to the success of your business?
In logistics, there are 3 key elements to being successful!… This includes advanced communication skills, ensuring goods arrive on time and our pricing is one of the most competitive in the UK. Our customers will always be our centre of focus when it comes to delivering a consistently high level of service every single time.
How do you go the extra mile for your customers?
Sometimes on very rare occasions due to weather or vehicle breakdown carriers may not be able to reach customers for their collections so I have in the past diverted my vehicles to do a last-minute collection to ensure our customers’ goods are delivered to the depot on time so that they meet their customer’s expectations on the service they have paid for. It’s going that extra mile for our customers by giving them that personal touch that makes all the difference.
