My name is Andy Telford. My interests are Scuba diving, travelling and sightseeing at historical sites such as Roman, Greek, Egyptian, African and Central American Mayan culture — anything with a bit of a link and ancient history and I’m there.
Why do you do what you do?
I do what I do for my family, I work to look after them and provide them with the best lifestyle I can. We work hard so we can get away and spend time as a family.
How do you feel your offering makes a difference?
I will work when my customers need me, even out of hours and I hope they feel comfortable knowing that I have a good understanding of the industry and can help and support them with any queries to make them feel comfortable.
Can you detail your service offering? How do you help your customers?
There are many different ways we go the extra mile. Whether it be helping them get shipments on if their internet is down or they have been pushed for time. We have collected parcels and taken them to depots. We have also sat with customers at busy times for them such as Christmas and helped them book their shipments out all day.
What kind of experience did you have before becoming a World Options partner?
I worked for DHL, Royal Mail, Parcelforce and for other companies. It has given me a great understanding of the different offerings from all the carriers and has taught me that they all do something a little better than the others.
How do you go the extra mile for your customers?
I make myself available to my customers at all times and I pride myself on always going the extra mile and trying to ensure my customers have an enjoyable shipping experience.
