My name is John Davis, and I am a World Options partner. My personal interests include travelling, music, cooking, walking, keeping fit, going to concerts, stargazing/sky-watching and reading good books. I am also passionate about helping businesses to grow by assisting with their day-to-day shipping requirements.
Why do you do what you do?
I have been in the carrier/logistics business for over 7 years, my main aim is to focus my energy on what matters most to my customers and their businesses, our business model makes a real difference & positive impact to customer’s operations – through the hands-on portal and our superior delivery system. We save businesses time, hassle & money supported by our leading industry expertise, I believe no business is doing what we do, some copy but few succeed.
How do you feel your offering makes a difference?
We help SME & Larger Companies reduce cost, save time, and improve efficiency, by streamlining their logistics needs through value-added logistics shipping solutions, our stand-alone & integration portal system is leading the way in the carriage industry! Nothing is ever too much trouble, we are local but always think globally.
Can you detail your service offering?
We partner with the ‘largest’ carriers in the world. Due to our bargaining power, we offer our customers great solutions at significantly reduced rates by providing a multi carrier online platform, our portal & App allows you to manage shipping documentation, track & view all shipments, access to PODs, download your full shipping history, Bulk ship, Bulk print. The portal is set up for integration with all the major shopping carts and marketplaces.
You have your own dedicated UK based one point of contact customer services and account management; rest assured you always get that personal service.
What kind of experience did you have before becoming a World Options partner?
I have 15 years in a customer facing account management role, in addition to that I spent 2 years working for World Options direct to get a feel of the company and processes, I then decided to purchase my own franchise.
What do you feel is key to the success of your business?
Hard work, Integrity, exceptional customer service, competitive pricing, being pro-active when any challenges show themselves.
How do you go the extra mile for your customers?
I simply believe the customer always comes first, I always rise above and beyond expectations, there has been times when I have had to drop off customer orders to the carrier’s hub for various reasons, I will Do Whatever It Takes! We see our customers as members of staff, and we will always go that extra mile.
